Salone del Mobile di Milano shows up in Shanghai

Salone del Mobile di Milano shows up in Shanghai: the event will take place from November 19th to 21st at a 4.000 square meters exhibition complex in the Chinese metropolis, the Shanghai Exhibition Center.
“The success of the Italian design stands out thanks to its history, tradition, research and innovation” explained the Italian Ambassador, Ettore Sequi, during the introductory press conference. “The Chinese market is looking for high quality products and Chinese consumers reveal increasingly sophisticated preferences. Italian enterprises can satisfy this growing demand and Salone del Mobile constitutes the perfect occasion to prove it convincingly” he added.
Roberto Snaidero, President of Federlegno Arredo e Salone del Mobile di Milano, underlined that Salone del Mobile is not just an exhibition of furniture and decorative items, but it is, above all, a showcase portraying the Italian style and Made in Italy. Finally, after ten years waiting for it, “that special project” to bring Salone del Mobile in China is now taking place. Amedeo Scarpa and Claudio Pasqualucci, Directors of ICE, respectively, in Beijing and Shanghai, attended the presentation of the event, together with David Zhong, President of Vnu Exhibition Asia (partner of the event) and Giovanni De Ponti, CEO of Federlegno.
