From October 1st to 4th, the KIP International School pavilion at Expo Milan 2015 hosted the exhibition “Naturally Women “, a Sino-Italian art project conceived and curated by Alice Cazzaniga and promoted by the Italian Embassy in China, the Confucius Institute in Milan and Ever Beijing ltd.
“Naturally Women” originated from the willingness to strengthen the cultural dialogue between Italy and China – within and outside the context of EXPO – on the occasion of the 45th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Italy and China.
The whole project was inspired by the theme of Expo Milan 2015, “Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life”, from which it developed its own reflection on the specific theme of the relationship between human beings and nature as reinterpreted by the creative sensitivity of Han Shuying , He Chengyao, Mo Di, Sun Shaokun and Tao Aimin, five young Chinese female artists who live and work in Beijing.
