Ambassador Ettore Francesco Sequi presented today his Letters of Credence – accrediting him as Ambassador of the Italian Republic to the People’s Republic of China – to Chinese President Xi Jinping.
During the ceremony, held at the Great Hall of the People, Ambassador Sequi had a brief, cordial meeting with President Xi, to whom he conveyed the warm greetings of the President of the Italian Republic Sergio Mattarella, emphasizing – in the year that marks the 45th anniversary of bilateral diplomatic relations – the mutual interest in promoting and further developing the strategic partnership between Italy and China in all sectors.
