Charming Italy: presentation of Italy’s investment opportunities with China Industrial Bank

A presentation of Italy and its investment opportunities to the investors of China Industrial Bank. This was the main goal of the event held on September 21st at the Italian Embassy and directed to the clients and investors of China Industrial Bank, which with the “Global Life” channel provides specific services for overseas investments.
The event, organized by the Embassy in cooperation with the Italian Agency for Trade Promotion and the Italian Chamber of Commerce in China, was attended by a hundred investors interested in diversifying their business abroad. The presentations were tailored to introduce in detail the investment opportunities in specific sectors and related services offered by the bank and the Italian institutions. Tourism, arts&culture, but also healthcare services and Made in Italy were all presented – supplemented by information on visas, access and residence services.

“Events such as this are extremely important for better understanding the great diversity and richness of Italy and the opportunities that our Country offers. Most importantly, through this kind of events we are able to provide guidance and answers to specific information requests” said the Italian Ambassador in China, Ettore Sequi. “If we do well our work we can reap the fruits of the ‘Road to Fifty’, along which Italy and China are walking together towards the 50th anniversary of their diplomatic relations, in 2020. There are many areas of collaboration on this path” stressed the Ambassador.
“We are committed to provide tailored services to customers that want to internationalize their assets and investments” said the Vice President of China Industrial Bank, Chen Jinguang. “The needs are increasing: the customer wants to have instruments to diversify investments abroad.”
Opportunities in education and luxury brands attract growing interest from Chinese investors. Art, culture, tourism and healthcare systems were all touched in the presentations by representatives of the Embassy, the Italian Trade Agency, the Italian Chamber of Commerce in China, but also of Modern Horizon International S ervice Company and Chinese branch of Assicurazioni Generali.
