At the presence of top leaders of the PRC, Chairman of the Peoples’ Consultative Conference Yu Zhengsheng opened the work of the annual plenary session of the National Committee of the People’s Political Consultative Conference.
“A crucial event of the Chinese political life to which Italy pays great attention” said Ambassador Ettore Sequi. President Yu explained the activities undertaken by the Consultative Conference on the adoption of the 13th five-year socio-economic development Programme (2016-2020). “Among the priority areas of our interest, President Yu mentioned agricultural development, environmental protection and health, among the issues at the center of the strategic partnership between China and Italy” observed Ambassador Sequi.
Saturday, March 5th the National People’s Congress will open its plenary session, during which the 13th five-year Programme will be approved.
